do any of those televised golf aids work?

I only play a few times a year, but I could go from 110 to under a hundred if I could just get rid of a every third hole slice during tee-off and could drop the ball on the green more often than not with just one shot from 20-60 yards out.

also, how much can i expect to pay to get a coach to work with me and what should I look for?
