Hmmmm. I'm going to make a couple of assumptions here. I guess you mean having an infant that takes up all of your time. I also assume that you mean a healthy child. Having a kid that is all time consuming and healthy is part of being a parent and has defined my existence. No need to be humbled.
However, caring for the sick or unhealthy (old or young, human or reptile) is a completely different story. That is a humbling experience.
