Not an essay, but I do have some great "comments" from one of my instructors in college.
We had a programming class (Fortran to date myself). The instructor would hand out an assignment sheet describing the program you had to write. You were then to do the program, turn in the hardcopy of the code, the flowchart (there's an oldie) and the assignment sheet was to be the cover sheet of what you handed in.
This class was REALLY boring so my buddy & I would draw dumb cartoons & captions & pass them back & forth (we were occasionally under the influence of something or other in class) to pass the time. One day, I made a little comment about one of the weirdos in the class getting a blowjob from the instructor. I filed the paper away & forgot about it.
About a week later I turn in my assignment. The next day the instructor tells me I forgot the assignment sheet & would need to turn it in again with my program. So, I shuffle through my backpack & find the assignment sheet, staple it to the rest of the stuff & forget about it.
The next day in class, I get my assignment back with the following:
Assignment: 85
Turned in wrong: -10
Deduction for artwork: -10
Score: 65
I couldn't figure out what the artwork meant until I flipped over the assignment sheet & realized it was my nice drawing of one of the students getting a hummer from the instructor. I was absolutely panic striken!
