Yeah, I talked to a friend's dad who worked on the tanks for them and he said they're designed kinda screwy.
Until then, the solution is (as someone stated) to hold the nozzle out quite a bit so that it's barely in the tank, and fill that way.
It had me baffled because 1. I'm not at all a car person and 2. sometimes common sense eludes me. Never thought "let's take it out almost all the way and see if that works!" So thanks for the quick responses
He also said there's an issue where, if you let it get to the last quarter of the tank, it could take 20-30 minutes to refill because the rear axle goes through the center of the tank.. so you fill up one side and it kinda has to spill over to the other. But yeah, he was saying that because of this, and the nozzle issue, that there very well may be a recall sometime soon.
