Not to keep this thread off topic or anything, but the fact is that the vast majority of murders (and there are quite a lot of them) are commited with firearms.
That's the important statistic.
HOWEVER. I'm not against private ownership, just PRO education and regulation. I think this article is a good example of how education really does work.
