I didn't notice a lack of sympathy. It never occured to me that sympathy and this oxygen thiefs death were in any way something that had a relationship. I did notice that the folks at work (myself included) thought "right-on" and were glad that he was dead. One less blight on the Canadian landscape. I did wonder if there was a calculated reason for taking him out - you know, business. I was more impressed with the picture of the swat guy in the Toronto Sun. He looked like the real deal. Don't fuck with the swat boys, they will shoot you dead at Union Station at high noon if they feel called upon to do so.
