When you start your computer, hit the key to enter BIOS (Either Del, F8, F2, should tell you thou) and I'm not familar with Gigabyte's Mobo but it should tell you for sure what version of the BIOS is using somewhere on the screen.
In fact, it might even display the BIOS version when you boot your computer without having to enter the BIOS settings.
Like I said, I'm not familar with Gigabyte.
