were there not 'circumstances' around those stabbings though...i seem to remember that the fans (or one of them) was stabbed by a non-galatasaray fan...pissed people in a dodgy part of a city and one of them got stabbed, shit, totally shit, but it happens but it wasn't down to football violence if i remember correctly...could be completely wrong though...
i have travelled to a couple of european championships and also a world cup and i have to tell you that the english fans are the worst, the germans are pretty bad too but there is something horrible about the way english football fans are when they travel. i have got many english friends that concur incidently...
there was a rumour going round that the interisti (the inter fans) were going to cause some sort of disruption to the match in protest at moratti the club president. agreed that it was a real shame that dida got hit but there was something going to happen that night and the punishments are what the fans want so that they can hit moratti where it hurts...in his prada wallet!
