What about your 'medium-term' friends that are local and thart might have more available time? I'm sure they have people to introduce you to and they can just go hang out on friday nights or weekends.

You're not old yet. And this is coming from (gasp) a 21 year old! If you're in good shape you are lightyears ahead of the rest of your competition. If you work at health, you can appear to look younger (I say that because you call yourself an old fart, which means you might have insecurities about your age, something that effects over 80% of people over 55). If you have the time and money, join a gym. I've never met so many available women anywhere as I have at local gyms. I'm sure it will help with maintenence.

¿You're only comfortable around some women? That's normal, too. You have to put yourself out there in order to find the gems. You'll finjd a lot of fools gold out there, but the more you look, the more likely you are to strike 24 karat. I kept track of my own history. It turns out I dated over 560 women before I met my wife. That's a lot! That's also far above average (didn't want to scare you).

Um, okay.
Best of luck.

Edit: saw the pic. In case you haven't already: lose the facial hair, please. Also, you might want to cut your hair short, a la Eric Clapton, who is also 58 years young.
The beard is long gone; I wear my hair shorter, but Clapton length is uncomfortable for me.
