If I mentioned names likeAl Hirt, Gene Krupa, Woody Herman, Satchmo, Louie Belson, Lional Hampton, Count Basis to name a few would any one here know who I'm talking about. I loved big bands and small combos. I played the trumpet for 50 years. I pity people who haven't experience playing with a group. Well, it is what it is. Different stroke for different folks.
