I don't think that's right. I think that with all text, and the Bible is no exception, there's no such thing as a true interpretation. There are better and worse interpretations, and there are false interpretations, but no one true interpretation. I'll give two examples from scripture. First, the Song of Songs can be read either as a celebration of the love of a man and woman or as an allegorical celebration of the love between humans and God. But its not the case that one of these is false and one of these is true. On the on other hand, you can argue that one's a better reading of the text -- personally, I think the first interpretation is a better reading than the second, but I could be wrong about this. Second, it's clear that scripture (not just the gospels, but scripture as a whole) teaches that Christ was the Son of God. Any interpretation which denies this is simply a false interpretation.
