The social systems that the Royal Family personify have been in place (albiet in an evolving manner) for thousands of years. The occassional cuckoo egg in the royal baby carriage is a given. Which means that the system supports the system, not the bloodline. I find that interesting for sure. That was an unproven tidbit/flourish in the Mel Gibson flick Braveheart.
