Hmm...I hope my response wasn't taken as negative towards plastic surgery in general, because that is not my opinion. I know several women who have had plastic surgery and have been much happier because of it. My sister wouldn't have a face if it weren't for plastic surgery; she was in a terrible car accident and crushed her nose, cheeks, and broke her jaw. I don't think plastic surgery is the problem, its the TV shows that take beautiful women, or even average women, and have them point out all their flaws and then fix them or make them look like celebs. I think that is a major detriment to women everywhere, because it makes profit from an issue that many women have, which is negative body image; this issue is reinforced by the media and constant attention on "perfect" thin, beautiful celebrities. It's profit made by a problem caused in the most part by the media in the first place, which I find disgusting.
