Evolutionary scientists believe that the purpose of pubic and armpit hair is to absorb sweat so that the scent produced can attract a mate. This function is less important now that daily bathing is common and have any more than a slight body odor is socially unacceptable, but, as many have testified here, smell still plays an important role.
I'll go down on Grace pretty much any time, and she shares that sentiment. We both keep our nether regions free of that scent trapping apparatus, so even at the end of the day, the smell doesn't get any worse than a pleasant musky odor most of the time, and if it's a bit too much, giving your partner a quick cleaning to prepare her can be quite pleasurable, both on the giving and recieving end.
