As I was saying elsewhere, my son really loves, Voice of Fire... and I should say, I do too.
The thing about it is that no photo can do it justice. It is all about the scale of the thing (it really is big)... and how they have it hung in the gallery (almost reverentially).
While I like the impressionists, there is just something annoying about Renoir... don't know what it is really... his stuff always feels like it being viewed through vaseline.
Thanks for posting these... I can't wait to get back to the gallery this summer.
