it was strange, but we used to talk to this old woman when we went on a walk with our dogs through the condos where this woman lived (she's dead now). she had this little cute dog named "flora". anyway, the woman (for god only knows why) told us that she clipped her toenails & fed them to flora, the dog. this is the truth. what she told us. i swear. and i still SHUDDER at the oddness of feeding a dog yer toenail clippings. *shudders*
