Strange but true
When i was about 10 years old and my younger brother was 9...
We had to take swimming lessons at the local pool early on satruday mornings.
Of course our father would be the one to get up at 6a.m. and get us ready and take us to the pool... for lessons started at 7a.m.
while on the way to the pool our father started to complain ..
"Here I am on my day off having to get up early and take you guys to swimming lessons."..."When I was your age, my father, your grandfather, took me out into the middle of a lake in a boat and threw me over the side..Thats how I learned to swim."
My little brother was the first to think about what my father just said.
He then replied "Naw grandpa was just too cheap to waste a cinderblock."
My dad got this look of suprise on his face and said "HEY!!!"
"Thats really funny...I'll have to remember that one."
