oooooOOOOooooooo I love me some Maui. I stayed near Lahaina as well. If you can muster getting up way before sunrise, drive over to the Haleakala volcano to watch the sunrise with champagne... it is absolutely breathtaking! Also, rent a jeep and make sure you drive the road to Hana. There is a Texaco station ( I want to say it is near the airport, but I can't quite remember ) where you can purchase a cassette tape to put into the car stereo at a precise point and it will tell you every single place worth stopping along the way. I would leave by 7am, it is a whole day trip, but so worth it!!
