In looking through my old photos, I found these. They're from an trip I took a few years ago through Valdese. We (the group I was with) stopped for lunch at this little shelter by the side of the road. Finishing quickly since I tend to be a light eater, I just started walking around. I get to the top of this hill and see this beautiful waterfall and old run-down mill... So I stole away to get some pics, jumping from rock to rock to get to the other bank so I could get different angles.

Sorry for the quality, all I had was the camera on my PDA at the time. But I still think it says something for all the beauty one can miss when one doesn't take the time to look around.
