Hmmmm....ranting on a forum is a better way to express myself rather than say...keeping stuff in all the time. This isn't about ego, it's about people giving "advice" that isn't wanted. I certainly didn't tell my coworkers to quit wearing such ugly shoes, shave that ridiculous porn star mustache, or that he could stand to lose a little weight. It's about tact, as a previous poster said. I realize that other people have opinions, but personally, I don't think that telling people that I barely know that they need to change their appearance is an opinion that needs to be expressed. THAT is what my post is about. And if I didn't make that clear, well, my apologies.
