Firefox prefetching

According to the official Google blog, they now have a cool feature where they preload the first search result before you hit the link. They do this as follows:
{link rel="prefetch" href="http://www.website.com/"}{a href=http://www.website.com/}Website Title{/a}

I was thinking that it would be cool if the TFP could include the "prefetch" tag connected to the "View Next Page >" link on multipage threads. Of course, if this would turn out to be too much of a bandwith hog, just forget I said anything.
