What's even more frightening is this; the only thing they -do- seem to be able to consistantly hit is themselves!!
The nation-wide average, among all levels of Law Enforcement, for centre-of-mass hits on a full-size sillouette at 7 meters is a whopping 26%. LAPD is the high-scorer, at 74% ( as of last year ). Twenty-six percent. At 7 meters, with my .44, I shoot 95-100%. And I am hardly an exceptional shot. Cops just plain can't shoot.
