I think humanity will come to end under our own stupidity, and at this point, it might be the best solution as are progression furthers in technology, our own creation will eventually obliterate us. The only way that our hate filled racist existence would come together is if we are about to go to war with an alien race. Only then would we realize that we have to come together as humanity and destroy the alien threat, and by then maybe we would come to the understanding that all of the killing we’ve committed against one another was infact wrong, and unfortunately, even then I wouldn't have to much confidence in the human race.
We've been on Earth for a blink of an eye, and our destruction would be a return to normality. From my understanding, we are at a 6 billion population currently, and we can live comfortably up until 10 billion, after that, the shit hits the fan, so it's of utmost important to incorporate a population control method...such as China, all over the world, before we grow into something we can't handle.
I truly believe there is something much greater out there then we are aware of, and I don’t necessarily mean God, although it is one of the possibilities, but aliens and such as well. For all we know, our entire existence may have been created by an alien race far more advanced than even imaginable for whatever reason they felt necessary. There are tons of theories out there, and even though some may sound ridiculous, I wouldn’t rule out anything as nobody has a damn clue.
