If you can, leave the office for lunch and try not to eat carbs(try salads or bunless burgers)-they can make you sleepy within 2 hours of eating. If you do feel sleepiness or lethargy coming on, get up from your desk and move about. And find at least one thing during the course of the day that will make you smile when you think of it-even a good joke can break things up and make them tolerable.
