I take it you mean "present themselves".
Well, in my humble opinion, this happens because you are depressed in the first place, it is cyclic. You get depressed, it becomes harder to think rationally, so you make decisions based upon irrational thinking, and this tends to worsen the situation, causing more depression, and starts the cycle over. Depression is a terrible thing, it sucks you down and is one of the hardest things to overcome.
Everyone gets depressed at some point of their life, all that is different is the degree of depression. This happens because nothing goes exactly the way everyone wants it to. When something goes wrong in your life, you feel bad about it, sometimes it's something small and it's pretty easy to get over it, sometimes it's not so small, and it becomes much harder to deal with. But everyone will have to deal with it sometime. I have yet to hear of someone getting depressed by things going right.
I can't really present an opinion about the time heals all wounds question, because I can't understand what your asking. Sorry. Maybe you should get some sleep and try to rephrase the question.
And I'm sorry if my post doesn't make any sense, it's 3 in the morning for me.
