I've been interested in Gaelic myself but it's a hard one to get into. I know a few words but nothing to write home about.

Running around saying "Tiocfaidh Ár Lá" is
NOT a good start to learning Irish. It is a slogan of the IRA a terrorist organisation. The "our day" in quesion is the day that the current ruling power of Northern Ireland is overthrown by their violent terrorist methods.
