So.. I need a new TV (Looking for 50+) and Receiver. I have about 5K to drop, and would like to get the speakers and a decent DVD Player thrown in with this budget, but I have an Xbox and 5 speakers I can use until I can afford better.
Anyone have any suggestions? DLP, Projection,... Too many options and it is blowing my mind. I basically use the TV for Gaming and Movies (HD is a MUST), and the stereo for same. I have 80GB of high quality lossless digital music, so anything that would allow me to access that wirelessly would be sweet!!!

i just upgraded my home theater system when i moved a couple months ago. i went with a front projector so i can't comment on the television, but i got a new pioneer vsx-1014t-k reciever that i love... if you search online you can get it for under $400. as for the dvd player, i went with a sony dvs-nv775v. it's not a top-of-the line player, but it's definitely one of the best for under $150... it'll hold me over until the hd-dvd players are out.
oh, and i suggest going over to avsforum.com and posting on each respective thread... let them know what your budget is, what you'll be using it for, and what the room is like you'll be putting everything into. you'll get some great suggestions about what will work best for you and then you can go from there.
