I have a Simmons BeautyRest mattress (from the bowling ball commercials) and I love it. I'm not sure what they run these days though, I got mine a few years ago.
You could always get a cheap mattress and then buiy one of those "space age" foam toppers, or even a feather one. Those are nice too.
