No, that would be spinning what was said into something you seem quite ready to argue, but was never proffered. Here's something that more closely restates the post:
In a wrestling match, it is certainly possible for a competitor to defeat someone who is two or three rungs higher in the weight classifications.
However, a wise gambler would tend to bet on the heavier wrestler, especially if the scenario is repeated with different wrestlers on a daily basis. Over time, the gambler's odds of winning are much better that way.
A wise supervisor of deputies would have played the odds as well.
