So far I've tried Engineering/Alchemy/Tailoring and Leatherworking. I find Alchemy to be the most useful and has made me some ok cash. Potions are a godsend in PvP if you're a non healing class...which you are not, but you can make many others that can turn the tide of the battle for you. I would not suggest engineering since it is a money pit and you can really only sell the stuff you make to other engineers. Other than EZ-throw dynamite and a few guns the green lens is my best seller engineering wise. The good side to engineering is bombs...man are they fun, nothing like sending a few exploding sheep into the fray!
If you want to make money most people suggest gathering professions. Mining, herbalisim and skinning are the three gathering ones. You can sell what you pick up in the AH for a decent amount of coin but it very unpredictable what will sell from day to day.
If you want pick up first aid/fishing/cooking. They are all secondary professions and do not count against your primary ones. Fishing is now the most singularly boring thing to do in the game but can be bought up fairly high if you dedicate an hour or so to it. If you do take alchemy get your fishing up a bit so you can catch blackmouths and firefins which are needed for some potions. First aid is great for downtime recovery but is really not needed if you're a druid since you have the healing. Cooking goes well with fishing and you can move them up at the same time, cooking what you fish. There are a few really good cooking recipes out there that grant bonuses to your stats and the ever fun dragon breath chili.
Tradeskills are fun in this game but hardly pay out anything for the time invested in them. They are a great diversion to the level grind though and I recommend at least trying a few out to see what you like.
