It's so 1950 to be thinking that emotions and moodiness are making you "less matcho", just as it is so very lame to say that men can only be one way (manly) and to be less than "manly" means you're a girly man, or a homsexual. I mean, if all men were perpetually stuck in the "I have to me a man's man!" then no one would have ever found out that a woman sticking her finger up her man's ass and rubbing his P-spot would result in blow-the-roof-off orgasms.
Being moody and emotional happens to everyone. Perhaps, MEAD, your GF has made you more in tune with the emotional side of yourself, and you feel comfortable letting that out for the first time. That's a good thing, no matter what the insecure-in-their-own-masculinity types say!
oh, and by your definition of you being "super-manly", I know a LOT of straight women who apparently are men!
