i love portland so hard, it's got everything
the ocean is close, the mountains are very close, it's got great transportation so you don't need a car, there are (at least) 3 fantastic free weekly newspapers, the music "scene" here is diverse and interesting, there are a billion great places to eat, it's got 2 huge rivers, the city is laid out extremely well, there's just the right amount of people, it's clean, it's got TREES, it's actually hard to get lost, it's cheaper than any other big city i can think of in the pacific northwest... and best of all, it's in the pacific northwest.
