Additionally, Western values also included the handing out of small pox blankets to native peoples and that women where not citizens. Thankfully, western values are fluid and change with society. We are in the middle of a change. That change could go either way, but regardless, none of us can claim that we can define western values in such a way that we could reach consensus. If you're referring to same sex "marriage", there are no states that allow such a thing (though I think VT has this thingy called civil unions). However, any homosexual can get married at anytime. No one is denying them that right
