You've just got to experiment and find what works. Another thing you might try is her horizontal on a low bed or something, and you on your knees.
One lover and I found the beds in our dorms were perfect for this position: I would bend at the waist, laying my upper-body face down on the bed and leaving my rear hanging off the edge of the bed. He, standing, would then take me from behind. Fantastic, if you ask me.
