That was a little longer than I expected. So, I thought I'd put my thoughts towards the show seperate.
I wonder how much thought the writers put into this when they were coming up with the idea?
Samson talks about man giving up the "age of wonder for the age of reason" in the very first show. Remember Matthias "tells" us to "Wonder at what is present." There are a lot more of other instances, but that's the one that sticks out for me.
I wonder if they really put the work in finding out what the Gospel of Matthias was before they wrote it in the script or if they simply used the name because it had biblical ties and was no where to be found, which made it remarkably easy just to make things up that were supposedly in it.
I think it's the former as the attention to detail in this show is remarkable.
I absolutely love watching this show.
