yeah.. i've used media player classic, but i've always liked microsoft's new utilities because the always ran just fine for me and required very little cpu processing in the background. as for some of your guys' questions.. i already had media bar disabled and checked for virus' and spyware. my computer is completely cleaned out. not a single spyware on here or virus. my guess i found a windows os glitch. knowing me, i'll prolly end up being the one to find the problem. if anyone else has any more suggestions please let me know, this damn thing is so annoying, heh.
one additional problem i've noticed windows media player 10 doing lately is change it's default file types on the ie browsers. instead of by default playing windows player, it changes itself over to quicktime. now, i go back and do an open with, with the files and default it back to windows player and eventually it swaps back on over... weeeeird. ugh. lmao, it's just one thing after another.
p.s.- i like windows media classic, just not it's graphical interface, lol ><
