sometimes i wonder if a woman will leave them behind as a way of 'marking the territory', even if its only in a very primal subconscious way. That's of course supposing they leave them on purpose, and not that they somehow managed to forget to wear panties that day.
conversely, maybe ownership/possession of panties is a primal, subconscious desire to hold onto territory that's already been marked.
