I'm with Nofnway on the extra fees issue. I don't mind paying the monthly fee and I can even get past having to sign a contract for a year or more but the extra fees I won't pay. $150 "sign up" fee, $20 "membership card" fee. Maybe if you don't sign a contract I could see it. Its a business and you've got to keep the lights on and pay the bills but if you know you have me for twelve months in a bank draft situation then you should drop the huge sign up fee. At my gym I paid the first months dues and was in. No crazy extra fees.
