The PLO had tried to topple the Jordanian monarchy, and had set up a state within a state. Jordan was pissed. Sharon was involved in many battles, he was a general, and many military campaigns, and I'm sure some civilians were killed in those campaigns, as the targets(PLO) used the same tactics you saw the Iraqis using. Human shields, armories in hospitals, young kids on the front lines. It is a propaganda war, and they try to use our morality against us.
