yay! i flew around the world by myself and spent millions to do it!
"what? we still have cancer and world hunger?.... but i went around the world... it didn't help anything? hmm."
i guess it's nice in the sense that we as a human race have accomplished one more feat... but for all the money it took, wouldn't it have been better spent on research for cures for diseases? Diabetes, cancers, AIDS, etc. are all still ongoing issues despite our ability to circle the world in a plane.
