I don't really like lipstick, either - feels goopy. But this was a swing dance performance at a fundraiser and we needed to look vintage, so I needed bright red lips. I got some lipstick sealant from Sephora and I was pretty disappointed. I don't know if I did it wrong or if I just have flaky lips, but I still needed to reapply lipstick three times, and I had to scrub my lips to get the remnants of the sealant off. So, chalk it up to experience, I guess.

We taught about 20 people to jitterbug, did a bunch of Lindy and Charleston exhibition dances, and gave away all of our swing dance society cards that we brought with the dates of our dances on them.
