I'd have to nominate Dead or Alive, the Japanese gangster film. After the last ten minutes of the film, the theater just sat there for a second, stunned silent.
Also, Battle Royale. That's just a weird film and weird premise.

Dead or Alive was directed by Takashi Miike, check out my posts for more stuff the check out.
Cube was great, and Battle Royale bring a smile to my face. great stuff!
