Daft Punk's "Human After All" does sound like the same old Daft Punk, but that's not such a bad thing.
I, too, am more of a downtempo/ambient breakbeat/trip-hop/whatever-the-hell-they're-calling-it kind of guy. I recommend anything by DJ Shadow because he's a truly masterful producer (comparisons to RJD2 really irritate me). His recently released "In Tune and On Time" CD/DVD is an amazing mix of his own body of work performed in London a few years ago. And as other have mentioned, Ninja Tune is a label with many great artists on the "jazzy" side of low BPM electronic music.
