Day one is over, and I managed to check off "former cheerleader." The blunt approach worked on her, though I did get a bunch of rejections. My roommate and I went out after the bars had just let out at the end of the night, so I think everyone had given up on love and was just headed home, hence the less-receptive attitude. We've gotta get started earlier in the evening, I think.
