just don't see the benefit of this trade for Oakland. You've got a good receiver, but have not much else to help him out. If the quarterback is healthy, then you may see some offense. But giving up the pick and a good player? Don't get it.

Actually, Vikings got the short end of the stick. This was a steal for the Raiders man, we gave up a bum (Harris was another 1st round bust) and our 7th, which is no problem as we will get our 1st rounder back once we give up Woodson (possibly 20th or something), assuming anyone is willing to give up 10 million for him, if not, we will have no choice but to cut him and let him take what he can get. He simply is not worth it and we can’t afford to pay him that kind of money without fucking the cap. Furthermore, aside from Woodson freeing up 10 million, Gannon will free up another 8 million, Parella 2 million, and Grant, I don’t know how much he is supposed to get this season, but whatever it is, he’s not worth it, the guy is trash (hell, I hope we cut Sapp too while were at it). More than likely, Moss will restructure his deal also, but even if he doesn’t, he is to earn 7 million next season, which is still less than what Gannon was to make, so this is a win-win situation.
Thinking about Moss and Porter running the deep route with Curry in the slot give me chills man, not to mention Teyo. (wonder who’s going to wear 84
). Unfortunately, I don’t have too much faith in Scary Kerry, but he better get his shit together quick fast. He’s got the arm, but without accuracy, mobility, vision and intelligence, the guy is damn near worthless (Oh Gannon, WHY OH WHY must you have had a career ending injury??!...Fuck you Brooks!). I’m giving Collins one more shot, if he proves his worth, fine, but if he doesn’t, Al and Norv better pull his ass out and put Tui in, otherwise it’s another season down the crapper.
Now that we have one of the best receiving corps in the league, all we need to do is sign a RB and our offense will be unstoppable (how Davis will go about that is beyond me)…even with a sub par defense, which will hopefully be taken care of in the draft. If we can manage to get a 1st rounder for Woodson, hopefully we can get that pass rusher we so desperately need. If Davis manages to pull it off with a RB, OLB/ILB, and a DE somehow, we will go from 5-11 to SB run, count on it.
