For those of us who were in the critical formative years of 6-12 during the great post eighties comedy wave which gave us classics such as Bill and Ted's Bogus JourneyExcellent Adventure, Encino Man, Son in Law and Weekend at Bernies I and II, Pauly Shore is cool.
Anyone else can feel free to despise him, but for that tiny demographic he was radical, and everyone at school quoted him around a marbles game. This was an age before Jay's snoochie boochies and Chappel's popularisation of 'fo shizzle', an age of innocence when comdey rose from the ashes to dominate the scene in the twighlight of the great action glut of the Reagan era...
