Evolution explains how we came to be humans. It does not explain how life came into existence. The two theories attempt to explain two different parts of our existence. There does exist evidence that supports Intelligent Design, making it more than just religion based. Evidence that supports Intelligent Design:
Irreducible Complexity and
Specified Complexity .
