I know I'm a little behind in my forum reading, Strange Famous, but I just read your post and am curious where this came from. It quotes Jesus, but I don't recognize it from the Bible.
My favorite, also from the Bible "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal, to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus" by the Apostle Paul writing in Phillipians 3:13,14
Religous or not, I think this is good advice; forget the mistakes of the past, learn from them, then move on.
