I use Maxthon or opera for browsing these days and both of them you can set to not save visited urls, allow only session cookies, delete those cookies on closing, and dump temp files. Then I use iIsystem wiper to clean up media player etc....
I'll have to check the index.dat file thing
All of this not only for porn but just to keep things humming and not having all of that build up
