This thread appears to have reached its end, the terms in question having been defined. Nontheless, I would be interested in others' thoughts on the article. I found it to be both compelling and disturbing. The implication that the rule of law is the glue that holds (very tenuously at times) the fabric of our society together rings true for me...or maybe it's actually society's belief that this is so makes it work as a cohesive force.
Any thoughts out there on this?
